Technology Self-Assessment School 2.0

Module 4: Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments.
4. I provide students with multiple and varied opportunities to demonstrate their learning, and I make data-based decisions to customize and adapt future learning opportunities aligned with content and technology standards.

The reason that I choice this article was because I lack technology and wouldn't know how to really introduce it in my classroom let alone have my student use it. I feel that in learning about different ways to expand their options will give them a better opportunity for learning and exploring their options on the web and with technology. I found it interesting that technology is an important tool in life now. Many see it as a necessity in schools in which is I'm starting to believe that this may be true and is something that all teachers should learn and have in there class.

What I learned from 21st Century Teaching and Learning: Assessing New Knowledge was that technology is a great way to expand the minds of students in a classroom. Studies are done to show that technology gives students a better opportunity to of expanding their learning because they are able to find more online rather than reading information in books. Students will learn more and more as they continue to use technology and their knowledge will never be limited. As they grow more and more understanding of technology is what is expected of them and this is great because students no longer have resource limits.
